- How do I sign up to be an authorized driver?
-

- What happens if I get into an accident?
- 
	Call the police and file a report. Fill out an accident form for risk management. Email the Transportation department at GWfleet  gwu [dot] edu (GWfleet[at]gwu[dot]edu) gwu [dot] edu (GWfleet[at]gwu[dot]edu)
- How far can I travel?
- 
	You can travel within the DMV area. All out of town and overnights must be approved beforehand. 
- Who to contact in an emergency?
- 
	In case of an emergency, please contact the Transportation Department or the Fleet Supervisor. Visit our about page for the contact details. 
- Who can rent a vehicle?
- 
	Faculty and staff of the university can rent vehicles. 
- How do we get fuel?
- 
	All vehicles come with a gas card through which you can refuel. 
- How to report damage to the vehicle?
-

- What happens if I am late?
- 
	If you are unable to return the vehicle on time, you will be charged a late fee. Late Fee: $20 for every 30 minutes. 
- Can I request an extension?
- 
	Yes you can request an extension by emailing GWfleet  gwu [dot] edu (subject: Fleet%20Reservation%20Extension)  (GWfleet[at]gwu[dot]edu) gwu [dot] edu (subject: Fleet%20Reservation%20Extension)  (GWfleet[at]gwu[dot]edu)Please Note: Your reservation duration is extended only if it is approved. If it is not approved, you have to return the vehicle on time or you will be charged a late fee. 
- How can I change my reservation?
- 
	Visit the Fleet Commander website and modify the reservation. Only after approval will your reservation be modified. If it is a last minute request, email the Fleet Department at GWfleet  gwu [dot] edu (subject: Modify%20Fleet%20Reservation)  (GWfleet[at]gwu[dot]edu). gwu [dot] edu (subject: Modify%20Fleet%20Reservation)  (GWfleet[at]gwu[dot]edu).
- Whom to contact in case of breakdown?
- 
	Call for maintenance. Check the vehicle binder in the car. 
- What if I have to pay a toll?
- 
	If you have to pay toll, it'll be charged to your department account. 
- What if I get a ticket?
- 
	If you get a ticket, it'll be charged to your department account. 
- Where do I pick the vehicle from?
- 
	You can pick the vehicle from Shenkman Hall Parking Garage located on G Street.
