- What happens if I get into an accident?

Call the police and file a report.
Fill out an accident form for risk management.

- How far can I travel?

You can travel within the DMV area.
All out of town and overnights must be approved beforehand.
- Who to contact in an emergency?

- Who can rent a vehicle?

Faculty and staff of the university can rent vehicles.
- How do we get fuel?

All vehicles come with a gas card through which you can refuel.
- How to report damage to the vehicle?

Report the damage to the Fleet Department by emailing them at [email protected]
- What happens if I am late?

If you are unable to return the vehicle on time, you will be charged a late fee.
Late Fee: $20 for every 30 minutes.
- Can I request an extension?

Please Note: Your reservation duration is extended only if it is approved. If it is not approved, you have to return the vehicle on time or you will be charged a late fee.
- How can I change my reservation?

Visit the Fleet Commander website and modify the reservation. Only after approval will your reservation be modified.

Call for maintenance.
Check the vehicle binder in the car.
- What if I have to pay a toll?

If you have to pay toll, it'll be charged to your department account.

You can pick the vehicle from Shenkman Hall Parking Garage located on G Street.
